There are so many local gems in Macau, and Estab De Comidas Ngao Keo Ka Lei Chon 牛記咖喱美食 is a long-established eatery famous for their curry and crab dishes.

(1) We first try their beef brisket in clear broth 清湯牛腩, as beef brisket is a signature dish at the restaurant. The beef brisket is cooked until soft and tender, and the broth is deliciously flavourful.

(2)  We also try their beef shank in yellow curry 咖哩牛?. The yellow curry is rich and enticing, with just the right level of spiciness (just a tad spicy), and the beef shank is cooked just right.

(3) The crab congee 水蟹粥 is freshly made and is utterly soothing. The congee absorbs all the fresh flavours from the crab, and the seasoning is perfect.

(4) Last but not least, their crab roe with wonton noodles 蟹黃撈麵 are dangerously delicious! The crab roe, umami-rich and almost addictive, is the perfect complement to the thin and springy wonton noodles.

We leave the restaurant feeling full and satisfied, and cannot wait to try out more local gems next time we are in Macau!
