Like a lot of other busy Hong  Kong ladies, I have many work and non-work events to attend every month. I am usually happy to recycle my dresses, but sometimes when the dress code is specific, a shopping trip might become necessary.

Luckily, a designer wear rental company called YEECHOO is here to save the day. YEECHOO offers a selection of carefully curated designer dresses and outfits, which can be rented at a fraction of the original price. You can pick up the dress from their fitting room on Wellington Street, or opt for delivery. You get to keep the dress for a few days and can return the dress after your event is over!

The YEECHOO website (link above) gives you a comprehensive view of all the designer wears available, but I would highly recommend that you go for a fitting session (HK$200), which is 60-minute long and lets you try up to 5 styles, since you would really want to make sure that the style and the cutting of the dress fits you!

I need a pink dress for the Breast Cancer Foundation Ball on May 13. I own a number of black or dark dresses but don’t have a pink one, so I’ve decided to rent one from YEECHOO for this occasion. I have picked this Aidan Mattox Dolman-Sleeve Beaded Godet Gown, which costs HK$1,650 to rent for a week, and pair it with a grey-silver Serpui Marie clutch at HK$375.

As you can see, everything at the ball is pink and the colour of my dress blends in perfectly with the venue’s decorations.
